Beauty & Body Essentials Level 4

Where are you from, and why did you think beauty was for you?

I’m from Papakowhai, in Wellington. I’m currently studying level 4 Beauty & Body Essentials, and about to start the Professional Face, Body & Spa Therapies level 5 course. I’m a friendly, outgoing person, so I suppose you’d say I’m very social as I love going out with friends. I love helping people and making them feel good. 

What has your time at Elite been like so far?

My time at Elite has been awesome. I’ve met some lovely new friends and had a lot of fun! Each day is different at Elite, whether it’s theory or receiving a massage. I’ve learnt a lot by practising on real clients and gained confidence doing so. I’ve learnt many new skills and valuable tips I will use in my future. Elite has taught me how to be a professional, high quality beauty therapist. I’ve learnt the skills I need to further my career and have the opportunity to work overseas! 

What would you like to do in the future?

For the very near future I’d love to do a few days a week of eyelash extensions, and I have just started doing these from home. I’m thinking of completing my internship in Australia, as I’d love to live there next year. I also want to travel and work in Europe. I want to gain lots of experience overseas and then open my own salon back here in New Zealand.
