Each year students from the Elite School of Beauty & Spa have the opportunity to expand their horizons, by obtaining further work experience and knowledge from leading industry partners to enhance their career options.
One partner Ultraceuticals offers a yearly, all-expenses paid trip to Sydney to meet the founder and learn first-hand more about the leading Australian cosmeceutical brand. After using Ultraceuticals products during their level 5 programmes students are excited for a personalised tour and indepth learning experience.
As part of the Elite Ultra Star Student Award this year, three Elite students were offered the opportunity to attend the Sydney tour. Ashlea Ponsford from Wellington, Tamzyn Fordham from Hamilton and Denise Corlett from Auckland. Each were thrilled to be selected, and found the trip full of learning.
Tamzyn said, “One thing that I took away from the weekend was how specific Ultraceuticals are with their quality control, particularly the testing of new and upcoming products which blew all of us away. For example, it normally takes Ultraceuticals two to three years to fully develop a product up to their standard, which to me it proves why their products are so insanely good, and are able to show real results on the skin.”
Both Tamzyn and Denise also enjoyed a new facial by Ultraceuticals Ambassador, Tracey Beeby. “As this facial is not in the clinics yet, we felt really special too. We also learnt about new treatments and options which is really interesting,” said Denise.
Meanwhile Ashlea was inspired by the stories of the Ultraceuticals team. Ashlea said, “Meeting all the passionate staff and learning about their roles and journeys, and how they've made Ultraceuticals so great was inspiring. The Ultraceuticals team is super passionate about their products, and they all play a huge part, and are always thinking about the clients’ needs first. They put so much effort into every product and treatment they make available. We also learnt about all the different clinical tests they do on real people, and showed us their results which were astounding”.
Elite and Ultraceutricals are in their second year of the partnership, and from the feedback from the students it’s an invaluable part of their training in the industry.
Shelley Barnes, Australia and New Zealand Sales & Education Director for Ultraceuticals said, “We absolutely loved hosting the Elite College Ultra Superstars at our Ultraceuticals Head office in Sydney. We were so impressed to learn how these three Elite graduates are already changing lives through delivering great skin-focused services. Their knowledge and confidence in Ultraceuticals products has already achieving top sales results in their clinics. Tamzyn, Ashley, and Denise were so passionate about Ultraceuticals, that meeting them, actually inspired all of us!”
