Beauty Therapy

1 Day Taster 

A day filled with lots of hands on practical fun while students experience being a beauty therapist for a day! Students will learn about nail care and have the opportunity to receive and perform both a manicure and pedicure. Teenage years can be challenging for those who don’t understand skincare and everyone wants healthy glowing skin. Students will get to practice facial routines and make a scrub that they can take home to begin their own personalised skincare regime.

Makeup Artistry

1 Day Taster

Students will be busy from start to finish learning all there is to know about applying flawless foundation, contouring and highlighting, correct blush placement, defined brows and creating the perfect pout. There are lots of tips and tricks for students who want to enhance their natural beauty and build confidence in how they present themselves. All of this takes place in a supportive & fun teaching environment where we recognise that true beauty comes from within.

Behind the scenes to Beauty

2 Day Course

Come and join us for 2 amazing days, filled with exciting activities where students will learn about what goes on behind the scenes. You will gain knowledge of how to effectively use the tools and equipment which are used in make-up and skin care services. Make new friends and experience a taste of the “Behind the scenes to Beauty”.

Block course 

Cosmetology | Take Your First Step 

10 week block course with 12 credits

In this course students will delve into the history of beauty therapy as well as learn what the current fashion trends are, the importance of personal presentation in a beauty salon or clinic will be covered. Students will also learn how to effectively use the tools and equipment that are used in make-up and skin care. They will also gain knowledge in facial features, face shapes and underlying skin tones as well as make up colour and design, make up products and different make up styles.

Students will be required to attend for 1 day per week over 10 weeks from 9am until 4pm, complete a student workbook to gain all the knowledge and complete their assessment onsite.

Holiday Programme

Our STAR school holiday programme gives students five days of campus-life experience at Elite and a chance to explore the world of beauty, while gaining extra credits!

Students gain knowledge and skills in beauty therapy and makeup artistry, along with other elements that contribute towards their future study-pathway and career options.

Our objective is to provide a holiday programme that exposes students to alternate pathways, leading towards higher- education and a smoother transition into the workplace. Some students are more aligned to the beauty industry, others may need additional confidence and soft-skills before going out into the world. This programme can help develop various qualities for both.

Star Holiday Programme students get to have fun with our team at Elite and gain extra Level 2 credits.
